beOnd has announced a USD $20 million investment in its next generation of premium cabins through an expanded agreement with Optimares, reinforcing a partnership built on a shared ambition to redefine the premium leisure travel experience.
The investment includes four complete shipsets comprising 256 bespoke lie-flat seats, which will equip the airline’s four incoming Airbus A321 aircraft currently being prepared to join the beOnd fleet. More than a fleet expansion, the agreement represents a strategic commitment to delivering a consistent, elevated onboard experience as beOnd continues its international growth.
From the very beginning, the collaboration between beOnd and Optimares has been driven by a common vision: creating aircraft interiors where every design decision starts with the passenger.
Designed exclusively for beOnd’s all-premium cabin concept, the new seating combines lie-flat comfort, Italian design, ergonomic innovation and refined craftsmanship to create a boutique onboard experience unlike traditional airline cabins.
“We share beOnd’s belief that comfort is a form of craft,” said Alessandro Braca, CEO of Optimares.
“Together we’ve built a cabin that reflects it: Italian design, engineered around the guest, where every material and every detail is meant to be felt rather than noticed. For us, the passenger has always come first. beOnd holds that same conviction, and it’s a rare and rewarding thing to build for a partner who cares about the details as much as we do.”
The additional shipsets will ensure product consistency across beOnd’s expanding fleet, enabling every aircraft to deliver the same premium experience that has become synonymous with the airline’s brand.
For Optimares, this milestone further confirms the value of engineering solutions that combine innovation, operational efficiency and human-centred design, while reinforcing the company’s position as a trusted partner for leading airlines and premium travel brands worldwide.
The announcement marks another important chapter in the long-term collaboration between beOnd and Optimares.
Together, the two companies continue to demonstrate how engineering excellence, Italian craftsmanship and a shared vision can redefine the future of premium aircraft interiors one journey at a time.
